Parenting and Family Life Education
One of the ways The Parenting Center maintains its mission of Providing Families the Tools to Succeed is through its Family Life Education program. Our highly skilled and caring staff is the reason more people come to us for parental help than any other agency in the area.
We offer parenting and family life education classes on more than 60 relevant topics, ranging from birth through the teen years. These classes and workshops are available at our offices, as well as other locations throughout the Metroplex. Personalized Parenting Packages
Thanks to a Toolbox Grant from the Community Foundation of North Texas, the Family Life Education department will launch the Personalized Parenting Package in January 2011. In addition to a computer-scored assessment and the coaching session, the new program will include the evidenced-based Nurturing Parenting curriculum. For parents who want to further improve their skills, the program will provide a customized package of parenting education classes or coaching sessions.
Speakers
Staff educators can be arranged to present programs to clubs, churches, schools, businesses or other types of groups at their location.
