The purpose of the Empowering Families Project is to increase family self-sufficiency, marital/relationship stability and satisfaction, earning power and employment rates as part of an overall strategy to promote healthy marriage. 

 

Services provided through the Empowering Families Project are FREE to participants ...sign up below.

 

FREE Services will include:

 

 

·    Screening to determine barriers preventing access to services and other family struggles

·    Plan to reduce/eliminate/prevent barriers and enrollment in services to address other family issues (including but not limited to: parenting classes, job and career advancement services, financial education, etc.)

·    Free Marriage/Relationship Education classes for married couples, engaged couples, dating couples, and singles (classes are accepted by the Twogether in Texas Program and will qualify engaged participants to receive the $60 discount on the marriage license)

·    Booster class sessions and quarterly appointments to maintain success.

 

 

Outcomes for participants in this program are:

 

·         Increased family self-sufficiency

·         Identification and reduction of barriers preventing success

·         Increased marital/relationship stability/satisfaction

·         Increased earning power and employment rates
