Co-parenting
Classes


   
 

Payment for co-parenting classes is required before the class begins.  Cash and money orders are accepted as payment at the class location.  Visa and Master Card are accepted if pre-registering over the phone. 

PLEASE ARRIVE 15 MINUTES BEFORE CLASS BEGINS FOR REGISTRATION.  TO AVOID DISRUPTION, ADMISSION IS NOT ALLOWED AFTER CLASS BEGINS.

 

THE CO-PARENTING SERIES

Children in the Middle Co-parenting Class

   
The Adults
Co-Parenting Series Part 1: A three hour class designed to assist parents in co-parenting and accessing alternate dispute services. Part I focuses on the adult issues related to conflict and keeping children out of the conflict.
 

The Children
Co-Parenting Series Part 2: A three hour class that focuses on children ' s issues related to conflict and recognizing children ' s needs. Part II helps parents avoid common mistakes that make life more difficult for children being raised in two homes.
 

Kids First
   
Co-Parenting Series Part 3: A four hour seminar explores how children perceive divorce, what they think, and how they feel about it. The class helps adults understand their emotions as they go through the separation and divorce process, and what to expect in the future

OTHER CLASSES OR SERVICES

Collaborative Co-parenting
Designed for cooperative parents participating or interested in a collaborative divorce.  The course will assist parents with understanding the needs of their children growing up between two homes, and learning effective communication skills.  This will empower families to maximize the collaborative divorce process.

High Conflict Families

Our High Conflict Families workshop is a 31 hour combination of four of our most effective services for assisting families in putting their children's interests first. Parents will take the Co-parenting series, Anger Management Class, Living Apart-Working Together class, and wrap up with a consultation session. The services are taken in order. Both parents are required to jointly participate in the Anger Management series, Living Apart-Working together class, and the consultation session.

Living Apart, Working Together
This three week series will teach skills to help reduce tension and stress, and improve communication through conflict resolution as you strive to work together for the well-being of the children being raised between two homes.

Smart Step

This six part course teaches practical approaches to coping with the challenges of living in a step family and co-parenting with the other home of the children. Learn how to build a healthy family life while working with the special strengths and stresses of living in an evolving family. 


Grandparents Raising Grandchildren
Learn effective parenting tips and how to find support for the emotional, financial, and legal situations involved in raising grandchildren. Strategies for working with the biological parents are also presented.
